About this sound

A playful double kiss sound linked to League of Legends lovers Rakan and Xayah, used in edits and memes to add a cute, affectionate moment between characters.

Muak muak is a short, exaggerated kissing sound made from two quick, smacking lip noises that land one after the other, giving it a cartoonish and affectionate feel. It is associated with Rakan and Xayah, the paired League of Legends champions whose romance is a central part of their story, so listeners instantly connect the sound with flirtation, teasing, and playful romance. In a video, the double kiss lands as a punchline rather than background noise, turning a glance, a hug, or a romantic edit into something warmer and funnier. Its brevity makes it easy to drop over a reaction, while its silly tone keeps the moment light and sweet.

Pro tip

Place the first muak as two characters lean in and the second on the cut to their reaction for a clean comic beat. Pair it with soft romantic music, but avoid placing it over dialogue, since the smacking sounds will compete with spoken words.

How people use it

Creators add it to romantic gaming edits.
Streamers play it after an in-game couple moment.
Editors use it for a cheeky kiss reaction shot.
Friends send it as a teasing Valentine message.
