About this sound

A short Neco-Arc vocal meme clip from the Tsukihime and Melty Blood fandom, used in edits, shitposts and goofy anime reaction videos.

This sound is the quick, high-pitched Neco-Arc vocal bit commonly labeled “Yanyan Yaan.” It has a squeaky, chaotic cat-gremlin delivery that feels instantly silly and a little cursed. The clip is very short, so it works like a punchline rather than a full quote. People use it to underline absurd anime jokes, smug character reveals, low-budget meme edits, or any moment that needs an unhinged burst of energy. Even without context, the voice alone gives a scene a weird, playful tone that viewers immediately read as ironic.

Pro tip

Drop this clip right on a sudden zoom, smug character pose, or freeze frame. It pairs especially well with low-res anime edits and Neco-Arc images, but it loses impact if you loop it too many times in one short.

How people use it

Introducing a goofy anime character with a sudden zoom.
Punctuating absurd shitpost edits with chaotic cat energy.
Reacting to cursed fan art or strange gameplay moments.
Adding irony to smug poses and low-effort memes.
