Nico Nico Nii is the signature catchphrase of Nico Yazawa, a character in Love Live School Idol Project, where she performs it as part of her idol persona. The phrase, voiced by Sora Tokui, became widely shared online through anime clips, reaction videos and fan edits, turning a short in-show moment into a lasting internet meme. Its simple rhythm and instantly recognisable delivery keep it popular for playful edits, introductions and anime references years after the series first aired.
About this sound
The Nico Nico Nii catchphrase from Love Live, performed by Nico Yazawa, used in anime edits, reaction videos and memes to add a cute, playful punch.
This short clip captures Nico Yazawa's famous Nico Nico Nii chant, delivered in a bright, high-pitched and deliberately cute voice that rises and falls with playful energy. The repeated phrase lands like a little performance, part greeting and part catchphrase, instantly recognisable to anime fans even without any visuals. Hearing it creates a light, cheerful mood and often prompts a smile or a knowing reaction, which is why creators use it as a punchline, an introduction or a sudden burst of personality in otherwise ordinary footage.
