About this sound

JonTron's exaggerated oh my god reaction to a Simba clip from his comedy review videos. Creators play it over shocking reveals, cursed images and fail moments.

This fifteen-second clip captures YouTuber JonTron in full meltdown mode, loudly gasping “oh my god” over and over as he reacts to a bizarre Simba-related moment. His voice cracks between disbelief and laughter, rising in pitch with each repeat while the delivery stays fast, breathless and deliberately overacted. It sounds like a friend losing composure at something too strange to process. For viewers, the effect is instant comedy: the sheer theatrical panic turns any awkward reveal or fail into a punchline, making the moment feel bigger, sillier and impossible to take seriously.

Pro tip

Drop the first “oh my god” right on the reveal frame, then let his escalating repeats ride over your zoom-in. Duck game audio underneath so his voice stays upfront, and cut the clip before the energy peaks to avoid dragging the joke.

How people use it

Reacting to a cursed bootleg Disney game reveal.
Punching up a funny fail compilation moment.
Mocking a friend’s shocking plot twist theory.
Captioning an unexpected jump scare in gameplay.

More information

This clip comes from the JonTron meme universe, built around YouTuber Jon Jafari’s loud, theatrical review style that turned his shocked outbursts into shareable reaction audio. The Simba reference points to a bootleg-style Lion King moment rather than Disney’s film, which matches the upload’s NotDisney tag. Like many JonTron reactions, it spread through highlight compilations, Discord soundboards and stream alert packs, where short, high-energy freak-outs work as instant punchlines. It endures because the delivery is so overblown that it makes almost any reveal funnier.
