The clip comes from Pilgrammed, the Roblox RPG where goofy enemy and NPC voices are often ripped for soundboards. Players isolated this old character yell and shared it under the name old fart, even though the audio is a scream rather than a fart meme sound. It spread through Discord servers, Roblox edits and short meme compilations as a quick reaction sting. Its short length and abrupt end keep it popular for looping fails and mocking dramatic deaths without needing any context from the game itself.
About this sound
An old man yelling yahhhhhhhh in the Pilgrammed game, this short old fart sound effect is used for silly fails, jumpscares and meme edits online.
This is a short, raspy yell from an old character, stretched into a loud yahhhhhhhh that peaks fast and cuts off abruptly. The voice sounds strained and cartoonish rather than scary, which makes the clip land as comedy instead of horror. At just over a second long it works like a vocal sting, hitting right on a reveal or a mistake. Creators use the exaggerated groan to mock an old fart moment, exaggerate pain, or punctuate a character getting launched, falling, or failing in an over the top way.
