The sound comes from Oddbods, the wordless animated comedy series built around seven colourful characters with opposite personalities. Fuse, the red one, is defined by his short temper, and his scream in the episode Locked became a favourite clip among fans who edited Oddbods moments into a scream meme. Shared as a standalone reaction sound on soundboards and short video platforms, it spread beyond the show's children's audience because the yell needs no dialogue or context to be understood as pure, exaggerated anger.
