About this sound

Gruntar shouting Olha a Lança during a Nidalee spear play in League of Legends, a short Portuguese gaming clip used for hype kills and funny LoL moments.

This is a very short voice clip of Brazilian creator Gruntar excitedly shouting 'Olha a Lança' as a Nidalee spear connects in League of Legends. The delivery is loud, fast and full of anticipation, building in the half second before the hit lands. Because Nidalee's spear does more damage from distance, the shout captures that satisfying moment when a long range skillshot actually pays off. Viewers instantly feel the tension release into celebration, which is why the line works even outside the original match as a reaction to any precise, long shot play.

Pro tip

Place the shout right before the spear lands, not after, so the anticipation syncs with the impact. Cut to a zoom or slow motion on the hit, keep game audio low underneath, and do not loop it or the excitement loses its punch.

How people use it

Drop it before a Nidalee spear lands in LoL montages.
Use it for long range snipes in other games.
Add it to basketball clips when a deep shot falls.
Play it in streams to hype a perfect skillshot moment.

More information

The clip comes from Brazilian League of Legends content featuring Gruntar reacting to a Nidalee play, with 'Olha a Lança' translating to 'look at the spear' in Portuguese. Nidalee is known for her long range javelin toss, a high risk ability that rewards accuracy. The phrase spread among Portuguese speaking players as a soundboard and meme reaction because it is instantly recognisable, very short, and easy to reuse for any thrown object, snipe, or unlikely hit in gaming videos and group chats.
