Onii-chan is a familiar address in anime and manga for an older brother, often delivered in a cute, affectionate tone by a younger sister character. This version pairs the line with applause, and the Portuguese word aplausos in its title points to its spread on Brazilian soundboards. Clips built around repeated calls like Onii-chan, onii-chan became popular as reaction audio in edits and chats, and adding clapping turned this one into a ready-made praise sound for wholesome or ironic celebrations online.
About this sound
Anime girl voice says onii-chan followed by applause clapping, a cute reaction sound used for praise, celebrations and wholesome anime edits.
A young anime-style female voice sweetly calls out onii-chan, the Japanese term for big brother, and is immediately followed by a burst of enthusiastic applause. The clapping is bright and sustained, turning a simple cute greeting into a full celebration. The contrast between the soft, affectionate delivery and the loud crowd response makes it feel both wholesome and comically over the top. It lands like instant approval, as if the character has just done something adorable or impressive and everyone in the room is cheering her on at once.
