About this sound

Opposition Expunged voice line from the Dave and Bambi Friday Night Funkin mod, a distorted vocal clip used in edits, memes and gaming videos.

This is a short voice line from Expunged during Opposition, his song in the Dave and Bambi mod for Friday Night Funkin. The delivery is loud, distorted and corrupted-sounding, matching Expunged's glitchy 3D form and aggressive personality. It does not play like a normal line of dialogue, it hits more like a sudden vocal sting that cuts through music and gameplay. Creators use that harsh, unstable tone to make a moment feel chaotic, threatening or absurdly intense, especially when paired with rapid visuals, screen shake or a sudden character reveal on screen.

Pro tip

Drop the line right as Expunged appears or a beat turns hostile, and let it play clean without music underneath for one hit. Add slight distortion and a hard cut after it, but avoid looping it, which dulls the shock.

How people use it

Adding Expunged jumpscare energy to Dave and Bambi edits
Punctuating a sudden boss reveal in Funkin gameplay videos
Making a meme character entrance feel corrupted and threatening
Soundtracking glitch transitions in fan animations and remixes

More information

Dave and Bambi began as a Friday Night Funkin mod created by MoldyGH in 2021, built around original songs and increasingly surreal characters. Expunged is the mod's corrupted secret opponent, and Opposition is the intense track associated with his appearance. Clips from the song and its voice lines spread through the wider Funkin community in gameplay videos, remixes and fan edits. The line stays popular because Expunged's distorted delivery instantly signals glitch horror and chaos to fans who recognise the mod, even outside a full playthrough.
