About this sound

Owen falls down a cliff in Total Drama, screaming and tumbling in this cartoon clip people use for fails, falls and dramatic reaction edits.

This clip captures Owen from Total Drama in a classic physical comedy moment as he loses his footing and plunges down a cliff. You hear his panicked yell stretch out as he tumbles, bounces and crashes out of sight, with cartoon falling and impact sounds layered underneath. It is loud, exaggerated and instantly readable even without the picture. The humor comes from Owen's good natured clumsiness turning a dangerous fall into pure slapstick, making the scream feel funny rather than scary and perfect for underlining an epic fail.

Pro tip

Place the scream right as your character or gameplay avatar goes over the edge, then let the tumbling sounds play over the fall. Cut to silence or a hard thud on landing, and avoid adding music that masks Owen's yell.
