Plus Ultra is the motto of U.A. High School in My Hero Academia, also known as Boku no Hero Academia, created by Kohei Horikoshi. All Might, the Symbol of Peace and mentor to Izuku Midoriya, popularised the phrase as a call to go beyond, rendered in Japanese as sara ni mukoe. His climactic uses of the line spread widely in anime edits, AMVs and reaction posts, and fans still quote it whenever a character, athlete or creator exceeds an apparent limit through sheer effort.
About this sound
All Might shouting Plus Ultra in My Hero Academia, the Sara ni Mukoe scene where he pushes beyond his limits, used for heroic anime edits and hype moments.
This is All Might delivering his signature Plus Ultra charge in Japanese, drawn out into a tense, rising battle cry that lasts nearly twelve seconds. His voice strains and cracks as he pushes past exhaustion, with roaring energy and crowd-like intensity building underneath. It does not feel like a quick catchphrase but a full commitment to go further than seems possible. Viewers instantly read it as peak determination, which makes even a small win or effort feel heroic and dramatic when the clip is laid over it.
