The rehehehehehe sound is a short, wordless laugh that has circulated as a meme clip on soundboards and social video platforms, where its exact origin is unclear. Its appeal comes from how instantly readable it is: a few rising chuckles are enough to suggest mischief, scheming or quiet amusement without any words. Creators reuse it as a reaction sound for pranks, fails, gaming moments and villain-style jokes, often cutting it in just as a character realises something. Because it is under a second long, it fits easily into fast edits and keeps working across different trends.
About this sound
A short, mischievous rehehehehehe laugh sound effect, perfect for villain reveals, pranks and funny reaction memes in videos, streams and edits.
This short clip captures a quick, sly rehehehehehe chuckle that sounds playful, cheeky and a little bit villainous all at once. The laugh starts low, rises in a series of light, breathy he-he-he notes and ends before it overstays its welcome, giving it a cartoonish, knowing quality. It works because it instantly signals that someone is up to something, has just spotted an opportunity or is quietly enjoying someone else's misfortune. Used in a video, it adds a wink to the moment, turning a simple reaction, reveal or prank into something funnier and more memorable without needing any dialogue.
