About this sound

A RWBY character recites the Green Lantern oath in this 13-second clip, blending anime energy with DC hero lore for fan edits, AMVs and cosplay videos.

This short clip features a dramatic spoken recitation of the Green Lantern oath, delivered with the confident, heroic tone of a RWBY-style hero ready for battle. The voice is clear and rising in intensity, building from a steady opening to a powerful finish that lands like a transformation or power-up moment. There is no music or background noise to distract from the words, so the oath itself carries all the weight. For listeners, it feels instantly empowering and a little nostalgic, turning a simple edit, intro, or reaction into a moment of comic-book heroism.

Pro tip

Drop the oath as your character transforms or reveals a new form, and flash the screen on the final line for impact. Keep music low underneath so the voice stays clear, and do not loop it, since the rising build loses power on a repeat.

How people use it

Powering up a RWBY fan edit transformation scene.
Opening a cosplay video with heroic energy.
Soundtracking a Green Lantern themed TikTok reveal.
Adding drama to an anime AMV climax moment.

More information

The Green Lantern oath is one of DC Comics' most recognisable hero pledges, recited by Green Lantern characters before they use their power rings. RWBY, the anime-inspired web series from Rooster Teeth, has a large fan-editing community that often borrows lines and themes from other hero franchises. This version blends the two worlds, giving editors a ready-made heroic voice line for crossover edits, AMVs and cosplay content. Its short length and clear delivery keep it popular for intros, reveals and power-up moments online.
