About this sound

The catchy Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan chant from the My Deer Friend Nokotan anime opening, used for deer edits, dance loops and anime memes.

This clip is the looping hook from Shikairo Days, the opening song for My Deer Friend Nokotan, built around the tongue-twister chant shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan. A bright female vocal repeats the phrase over bouncy pop instrumentation, with the rhythm getting stuck in your head after one listen. The sound feels cheerful, absurd and slightly hypnotic, matching the anime's deer-obsessed comedy. Listeners often focus on how cleanly the syllables bounce and how the chant keeps circling back without breaking energy, which makes even a short excerpt feel like a complete earworm moment.

Pro tip

Place the chant at the very start of a deer or cosplay edit and let it loop twice before cutting on the beat. Pair it with quick zooms or head-bobs, and avoid burying the vocal under heavy bass or dialogue.

How people use it

Drop it over deer videos for instant anime comedy energy.
Use it as intro music for Nokotan cosplay dance edits.
Loop it behind brainrot montages built around repeating chants.
Add it to rhythm edits where characters bob on beat.
