Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan is the title phrase chanted in the opening of My Deer Friend Nokotan, a 2024 comedy anime about a high school girl and a girl who is secretly a deer. The full title and its bouncy delivery made the opening instantly memeable, and short clips spread quickly on TikTok and other social platforms in summer 2024. Creators reused it for deer videos, anime edits and absurd reaction posts, and its simple, repeatable rhythm has kept it in circulation long after the first viral wave.
About this sound
The catchy deer chant from My Deer Friend Nokotan, with its bouncy repeated chorus that fans use for funny deer edits, memes and anime reaction clips online.
The clip is the instantly recognisable opening chant from My Deer Friend Nokotan, built around the rapid, sing-song repetition of the title phrase over a bright, bouncy pop backing. High-pitched voices bounce the syllables back and forth in a rhythm that feels both silly and strangely hypnotic, making it stick in your head after just one listen. For viewers, it instantly signals deer-themed chaos, cute absurdity and internet meme energy, so even a short snippet can turn an ordinary edit into something playful, chaotic and unmistakably tied to the viral anime moment.
