The Next Episode is a Dr. Dre track featuring Snoop Dogg, long associated with confident, laid-back hip-hop moments in edits and memes. The pet that dawg phrase grew as playful internet slang for showing affection to a dog, often captioned over clips of pets acting proud or unbothered. This short blend pairs the familiar beat with that pet-meme energy, which is why it travels well across short-form video, reaction clips and pet compilations. Its appeal is recognition: listeners catch the song instantly, then get the joke from the dog.
About this sound
A short meme clip blending The Next Episode with the viral pet that dawg moment, used in funny edits, reactions and pet videos online for dog lovers.
This six-second clip mashes the instantly recognisable opening of The Next Episode with the laid-back pet that dawg meme, so the smooth West Coast beat lands right beside a playful, slang-filled shout-out to a dog. The music gives it swagger and familiarity, while the meme voice keeps it silly rather than serious, making listeners smile before they even see the picture. It works best as a quick punchline, turning an ordinary pet clip into something that feels cool, cheeky and shareable, with the beat doing most of the work and the catchphrase delivering the joke.
