Super Idol comes from the Chinese pop song about loving someone at 105 degrees, which became a huge online meme for its catchy chorus and exaggerated praise. On TikTok and other short-video platforms, creators remixed the track with cartoon characters, games and anime clips, and the SpongeBob version became one of the most shared edits. Its humour comes from pairing a sincere pop hook with familiar animated voices, keeping it popular for meme compilations, edits and reaction videos years after the original trend.
About this sound
The viral Super Idol chorus reworked with SpongeBob characters singing over the upbeat track, made for funny meme edits and TikTok transitions.
This short clip takes the catchy Super Idol chorus and gives it a SpongeBob twist, with high-pitched cartoon-style voices singing the familiar melody over a bright, bouncy backing track. The vocals are playful and slightly chaotic, while the upbeat rhythm keeps the energy light and instantly recognisable. It sounds like a joke song made for a meme edit rather than a serious cover, which is exactly why it lands so well. Hearing the familiar cartoon voices on such a polished pop hook creates a funny clash that makes viewers smile before they even see the visuals.
