The sussy phrasing comes from Among Us slang that exploded online in 2020 and 2021, when players shortened suspicious to sus and sussy for jokes about impostors. Fake 911 calls have long been a separate meme format, used for prank audio and parody dispatch clips. This sound merges the two ideas, framing an impostor-style accusation as if it were a real emergency. It stayed popular because the format is instantly readable in short videos, gaming streams, and group chats where calling something sus needs no extra explanation.
About this sound
A fake sussy 911 emergency call sound effect with a panicked voice reporting something suspicious, used for Among Us jokes and meme edits online.
This clip stages a mock emergency call where a flustered caller tries to report something deeply suspicious in the most unserious way possible. The delivery leans on the slang sussy, borrowed from Among Us culture, turning a normally tense 911 exchange into a joke. You hear the urgency in the voice clash with the silliness of the complaint, which is what makes the moment land. It works as an instant signal that something shady is happening, even when nothing real is at stake, and viewers recognise the setup before the punchline even finishes.
