The line comes from Sing 2, the 2021 animated sequel where Porsha Crystal, voiced by Halsey, joins Buster Moon's outer space themed stage show. Her character performs as a confident hero battling alien creatures, which explains the dramatic monster taunt. Clips from the film were widely shared as short reaction audio after release, and this specific line survived because it is self contained, easy to quote, and works without any visual context from the musical number itself.
About this sound
Porsha Crystal shouts Take that, you nasty alien monster in Sing 2, a playful Halsey movie line used for mock alien battles and victory taunts.
This is Porsha Crystal delivering a defiant one-liner in Sing 2, shouting Take that at an imagined alien monster during her big stage moment. Her voice is bright, confident and slightly theatrical, with the line landing like a cartoon punch rather than real anger. The delivery makes the clip feel heroic and silly at the same time, which is why viewers instantly read it as a playful victory taunt. It works best when the visual shows someone overconfidently winning against something tiny, fake, or completely harmless in return.
