The clip comes from Altered Anime's fan-made abridged version of The Seven Deadly Sins, with this excerpt taken from Episode 3, titled The Seven Deadly Schmucks. Abridged series rework existing anime by replacing the original dialogue with new, comedy-focused voice work, and they became a staple of online fan culture through video platforms and soundboards. Short excerpts like this one travel well because they carry the humour of the parody without needing the full episode, making them easy to reuse in edits, reactions, and anime-themed memes.
About this sound
A short clip from Altered Anime's The Seven Deadly Sins Abridged, Episode 3, featuring the parody cast in a moment fans use for reaction videos and edits.
This clip captures a short burst of the fast, joke-heavy dubbing that defines Altered Anime's take on The Seven Deadly Sins, with characters revoiced in a looser, more sarcastic style than the original anime. The voices land quickly, one gag tumbling into the next, so the moment feels punchy even out of context and works as a quick reaction to something ridiculous, awkward, or over-the-top. For fans of the series, the familiar names and exaggerated delivery make it instantly recognisable, while newcomers still get the humour from the timing, the tone, and the sheer confidence of the performance.
