About this sound

A short TikTok clip where a cheerful hi guys greeting is immediately undercut by a loud fart sound, used for awkward intros and joke openings.

The clip opens with a bright, friendly hi guys delivered in the upbeat tone of a TikTok intro, as if a normal vlog is about to start. That expectation lasts only a second before a rude fart noise cuts in and completely derails the greeting. The contrast between the polite welcome and the crude sound is the whole joke, turning a familiar social media opening into an instant punchline. It lands as silly and deliberately awkward, the kind of moment viewers replay because the timing makes an ordinary hello feel absurd.

Pro tip

Place the hi guys right at the very start of your video with a smiling face on screen, then let the fart hit on a hard cut to a blank stare. Keep the greeting clean and dry so the rude payoff stays unexpected.

How people use it

Open a vlog parody with an instantly ruined greeting.
Punctuate an awkward introduction in a comedy skit.
Add to group chats as a silly hello reply.
Use under a confident entrance that goes wrong.

More information

Short greeting plus fart clips circulate widely on TikTok, where creators remix familiar intro phrases into quick prank sounds for edits and replies. This version pairs the friendly hi guys opening with a classic fart meme sound, following the same format used by many fart button gags online. The format works because viewers already know the polite TikTok hello from countless videos, so subverting it needs no setup or explanation. It remains popular as a lightweight reaction for intros, fake vlogs and moments that start confidently then collapse.
