At 2.016 seconds, the clip is already compact, so most edits need no trimming. Download the MP3 to keep it available offline and place it directly on a reveal frame. Its sharp musical hit can sit above quiet speech, but lower it when dialogue is already loud. It works naturally as a notification tone; for a ringtone, repeat it with small gaps so the alert lasts longer. Pair it with the Metal Gear Alert Sound or an Evil Laugh Sound Effect, while avoiding simultaneous music that masks the sting.
About this sound
Play the Dark Prince sound button, download the two-second MP3, or set it as a ringtone for ominous reveals, villain jokes, and dramatic punchlines.
This clip is a very short, ominous musical sting known online as Dark Prince. It has a tense, dramatic tone that feels dark, regal and slightly over-the-top, which makes it ideal for villain jokes, suspicious reveals and mock-serious edits. Because it lasts only about two seconds, it lands fast and gives a scene an instant boost of menace or irony without taking over the whole video. Viewers usually read it as a cue that someone is about to act powerful, shady or absurdly dramatic.
