Beluga is the name of a popular white cat character used in Discord style skit videos that spread widely on YouTube and TikTok in the early 2020s. Clips built around that character turned short chat exchanges, tricks and reveals into shareable jokes. This sound comes from that wider format, where catching someone out is the punchline. Fans cut the moment into a standalone clip for edits and soundboards, and it remains popular because the gotcha setup fits arguments, games, pranks and group chats without needing any context from the original video.
About this sound
The We Got Him Beluga sound is a short voice clip from Discord meme edits, used as a reaction when someone gets caught, exposed or trapped online.
This clip captures the triumphant moment of a trap snapping shut, with a voice proudly announcing we got him over a short, punchy build. The delivery is smug and playful rather than serious, like a group of friends celebrating after baiting someone into revealing themselves. At around eleven seconds it is longer than a simple one liner, giving the reveal time to land. Viewers instantly read it as a gotcha, the audio equivalent of pointing at the screen after a plan works exactly as intended in a meme edit.
