About this sound

Miss Elaina says she feels like she is floating in this cute clip from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, often used for light, happy moments in edits and memes.

Miss Elaina's bright, sing-song voice stretches the word floating into a long, giggly flooaattinng, rising with pure delight as if she is drifting up into the air. The clip is short and bubbly, with her cheerful whee setting up the moment before the stretched line lands like a happy sigh. It feels innocent, warm and instantly cute, the kind of sound that makes a simple clip feel lighter and more playful. Listeners hear joy rather than a joke, which is why it works so well for wholesome edits, childhood nostalgia and moments that need a soft, smiling lift.

Pro tip

Drop the whee as a character jumps or lifts off, then let the stretched floating line play over the peak. Keep music low and visuals bright, and do not cut the word short or bury it under a loud effect, or the floaty payoff disappears.

How people use it

A toddler jumps off a small step in slow motion.
A pet leaps happily onto a soft bed.
A cartoon character floats up after a surprise.
A friend spins joyfully on a sunny playground.
