Crab Rave is a 2018 electronic track by Irish producer Noisestorm, released on Monstercat as an April Fools joke. Its official video shows a crowd of low-poly crabs dancing on a tropical island, and that absurd visual turned the song into one of the biggest music memes of the late 2010s. Creators began dropping the bouncy hook over victories, fails and dance edits across YouTube and TikTok. Years later it still works because the crab march is instantly recognisable shorthand for chaotic celebration.

This is the instantly recognisable drop from Crab Rave, the bouncy electronic track by Noisestorm. It opens with a playful, wobbling synth melody over a crisp four-on-the-floor beat, then bursts into a bright, tropical-flavoured drop full of springy bass and chirpy lead stabs. The rhythm feels like it is bouncing sideways, which is exactly why it pairs so well with the marching crab animation. Hearing it triggers an immediate grin because the sound is pure unfiltered party energy, turning even a dull clip into something that feels like a tiny beach rave erupting on screen.
