Hazama is a character from Arc System Works' BlazBlue fighting game series, introduced as a calm intelligence officer who is actually a vessel for the villain Yuuki Terumi. Terumi is known for trolling other characters and enjoying chaos, so his actors deliver lines with a mocking, theatrical edge. Fans clipped his prolonged laugh and shared it on soundboards and in fighting game communities, where it became shorthand for an antagonist who is openly delighted by a cruel twist or an opponent's mistake.

Hazama's maniacal laugh from BlazBlue, a long unhinged cackle from Yuuki Terumi used for villains, trolling and evil reveal moments in edits.
This is Hazama's extended villain laugh, a high, theatrical cackle that starts sharp and keeps escalating until it sounds completely unhinged. The delivery is smug and taunting rather than joyful, with drawn-out syllables that make the character feel like he is enjoying someone else's misfortune. At just over six seconds it is longer than most laugh clips, so the joke builds as it refuses to stop. It instantly turns any scene into a villain reveal and makes even a small win feel like a master plan succeeding.
