Yuno Gasai is the central heroine of Mirai Nikki, also known as Future Diary, a Japanese manga and anime series centred on a deadly survival game involving future diaries. She became one of anime's most recognisable yandere characters, a term for a sweet character who becomes obsessively and violently possessive, and her laugh is frequently clipped for fan edits and meme videos. Because that contrast is instantly readable even without context, the sound has stayed popular in anime TikTok, AMVs and reaction content long after the series first aired.

Yuno Gasai's manic laugh from Mirai Nikki, a sweet giggle that turns unhinged and sinister. Used for yandere edits, horror memes and creepy reactions.
This clip captures Yuno Gasai laughing in her signature yandere style, starting as a light, almost innocent giggle before sliding into a higher, sharper and distinctly unsettling cackle that lingers just long enough to feel wrong. Her voice stays bright and playful on the surface, which makes the sudden shift in tone feel more threatening than a straightforward scream. Listeners instantly recognise the contrast between her cute delivery and the obsessive, dangerous affection behind it, so the laugh works as a shorthand for a character who is smiling while plotting something extreme. It lands as funny, creepy and oddly charming at the same time.
