Sun and Moon first appeared as the Daycare Attendant in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach in 2021, a single animatronic who changes personality with the lights. Their popularity led to fan channels including The Sun and Moon Show, a roleplay series on YouTube that expanded their dynamic with daily episodes and lore. Short clips from the show circulate among FNAF fans on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, reused because the contrast between the sunny host and his lunar counterpart fits jokes, edits and horror themed memes.

Short clip from The Sun and Moon Show featuring the FNAF daycare characters, used for fan edits, reactions and playful or creepy scene transitions.
This is a brief moment from The Sun and Moon Show built around the contrasting personalities of Sun and Moon, the daycare attendant characters from Five Nights at Freddy's. One side is bright, excitable and theatrical, the other is quieter, darker and more unsettling, and a short clip captures that switch instantly. Even at under three seconds it carries clear character energy, shifting the mood from cheerful to eerie without needing context. Viewers recognise the voices and timing right away, which makes the sound land as both a fan reference and a quick emotional cue.
