Water is a 2023 single by South African singer Tyla that became a global hit after its dance challenge spread on TikTok, where creators recreated its smooth choreography and sultry vibe. The song helped bring amapiano-influenced pop to a wider international audience and went on to win the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in 2024. Its short, instantly recognisable hook makes it a favourite for short-form edits, which is why the clip continues to circulate long after its chart peak.
O tym dźwięku
A short clip from Tyla's song Water, with its smooth Afrobeat groove and catchy vocal hook, used in dance edits and viral TikTok videos today.
This clip captures the sultry, laid-back groove of Tyla's Water, built around a breathy vocal, a warm bassline and a soft amapiano-inspired beat that feels intimate and danceable at the same time. The production is smooth and minimal, letting Tyla's voice glide over the rhythm while a subtle percussive pulse keeps it moving. Hearing it instantly suggests confidence, flirtation and summer-night energy, which is why it works so well as a backdrop for slow-motion reveals, dance transitions and stylish edits. Even in just a few seconds, the sound sets a mood that feels modern, sensual and instantly recognisable.
