This audio is best known online in Brazilian meme culture under the name “13 pessoas enganadas,” often with the shouted “extra, extra” opening. It circulates in reposts, soundboards and short-form edits, and many users associate it with Chaves-style humor because of the way it is shared and labeled. Even without a fully verified source attached in every upload, the clip stayed popular because it instantly signals that somebody got tricked, which makes it easy to reuse in prank and fail compilations.
About this sound
A short Portuguese meme audio saying 'extra, extra, 13 pessoas enganadas', widely used in Brazilian edits after a prank, fake promise or embarrassing fail.
This clip is a brief Portuguese meme sound built around the line “extra, extra, 13 pessoas enganadas.” It has the feel of a dramatic public announcement, which makes the joke land fast and clearly. The delivery sounds like someone exposing a group that got fooled, so it works especially well after bait-and-switch moments, failed plans or obvious misinformation. Viewers instantly read it as a callout sound, and that blunt reveal gives reaction videos, status posts and short edits a playful, mocking punch.
