The over 9000 phrase comes from Dragon Ball Z, where Vegeta reacts to Goku's unexpectedly high power level, and the scene became one of the internet's earliest and most quoted anime memes. Clips of the shout were remixed, dubbed and reused across forums, videos and soundboards for years, usually to exaggerate any number, score or achievement. This Bababoy version keeps that same joke but swaps in a playful, personalised shout, which is why it works as a short reaction sound for gaming clips, edits and streams.
About this sound
A high-energy voice clip shouting Bababoy over 9000, a playful twist on the Dragon Ball power level meme used for hype moments, funny reactions and edits.
This short clip delivers a loud, exaggerated shout of Bababoy over 9000, stretched out with playful, meme-ready energy rather than a straight dramatic reading. The voice rises sharply on the number, giving it the feel of a power level suddenly breaking its limit, and the slightly silly delivery makes the hype feel funny instead of serious. It lands best as a punchline, turning an ordinary win, fail or reveal into something absurdly overpowered, and listeners tend to recognise the reference instantly even before they know who Bababoy is.
