The hook comes from Dubidubidu, a 2003 children's pop song by Chilean singer Christell Rodríguez, built around the playful nonsense chorus Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa Dubi Dubi. Decades later, TikTok users rediscovered the catchy tune in late 2023 and paired it with videos of dancing cats, pets and cheerful edits. The simple melody, bright vocal and silly syllables made it easy to lip-sync, dance to and reuse, and it spread quickly as a light-hearted sound for cute, funny and feel-good clips.
About this sound
The viral Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa song clip, a catchy Spanish children's pop tune that became a TikTok dance meme for funny cat and pet videos.
This is the bouncy, instantly recognisable hook from Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa Dubi Dubi, sung in a bright, high-pitched child's voice over a cheerful Latin pop beat. The nonsense syllables tumble out in a fast, playful rhythm, with light percussion and a simple melody that sticks in your head after one listen. It sounds joyful, silly and deliberately cute, which is why it works so well as a punchline for dancing pets, clumsy moments and over-the-top happy reactions, turning an ordinary clip into something that feels like a tiny celebration.
