Chucky first appeared in the 1988 film Child's Play as a Good Guy doll possessed by serial killer Charles Lee Ray, voiced by Brad Dourif. The character became a horror icon through sequels and the Chucky TV series, known for mixing childlike playfulness with brutal violence. He joined Dead by Daylight as a Killer in the 2023 Chucky Chapter, and players quickly clipped his laughs and voice lines for soundboards, edits and streams, where the short giggle still signals a creepy turn.
About this sound
Short Chucky laugh sound effect from Dead by Daylight, featuring the killer doll's creepy giggle used for horror edits, jumpscares and gaming memes.
This is a very short burst of Chucky's high pitched giggle from Dead by Daylight, lasting less than a second. The laugh is sharp, childlike and instantly menacing, with that familiar raspy edge that makes the doll sound playful and dangerous at the same time. Because it cuts in and out so fast, it lands like a sting rather than dialogue, perfect for catching a viewer off guard. It works best as a creepy punchline after a fail, a chase moment or a sudden reveal where the joke turns sinister.
