This clip appeared in 2024 as a Halloween remix of the familiar Discord notification sound, credited to creator exyl_sounds, and it gained attention from users looking for a seasonal replacement for their usual alert. Rather than a brand-new melody, it keeps the recognisable Discord call pattern and dresses it with spooky effects, which helps it feel instantly familiar while still sounding festive. That combination explains why it resurfaces each October, when people search for a Discord Halloween sound to use as a ringtone or notification for the month.
About this sound
The spooky Discord Halloween ringtone from 2024, a remixed alert tone with eerie whispers and creaks for notifications and calls during spooky season.
This 15-second ringtone reworks Discord's familiar notification chime into a Halloween-themed alert, layering eerie whispers, creaking doors, distant thunder and playful spooky stings over the recognisable call pattern. It keeps the original rhythm clear enough to notice instantly, while the haunted details make an incoming call or message feel like a jump scare in miniature. Fans use it to dress up their phones for October, turning an everyday ping into a seasonal joke that friends recognise straight away. It is short, punchy and easy to spot, even over background noise, which is exactly why it works as a ringtone rather than a longer track.
