This sound is known online as the "girl cries like a supercar" clip, a meme label based on how the sobbing resembles a revving engine. Its exact original source is not clearly established from the available information, but the audio has circulated widely in short meme edits and reposts. It stays popular because the cry has a strange, almost synthetic pitch that makes ordinary disappointment sound absurdly intense. Creators keep using it when they want a dramatic reaction that feels silly rather than truly upsetting.
About this sound
A viral crying meme sound where a girl's sobbing rises into an engine-like wail. People use it in edits for overdramatic fails and exaggerated sad moments.
This clip features a girl crying with a drawn-out "uh uhuuu" sound that oddly resembles a sports car revving up. The mix of real sobbing and that almost mechanical pitch makes it funny, awkward and instantly memorable. It lands best as a reaction sound, especially when a video cuts from something mildly upsetting to a full melodramatic breakdown. Viewers usually read it as playful exaggeration rather than genuine sadness, which is why it works so well in memes, ironic edits and clips that turn small disappointments into big emotional moments.
