The exact origin of this clip is unclear, which is common for short voice lines passed around meme soundboards, so it is best treated as an anonymous internet meme rather than a quote from a known show. Its appeal is the everyday situation it names: the blunt admission of hunger fits reaction videos, pet clips and gaming streams where food becomes a running joke. With just over a thousand plays logged, it remains a niche pick, favoured by creators who want a quick, relatable hunger gag without a long setup.
About this sound
A short voice clip of Tom saying he wants some food, used in funny hunger memes. Creators play it over empty fridges, late-night cravings and begging pets.
This is a short spoken meme clip, just over two seconds long, built around a single funny line about wanting food with Tom named in the title. The voice delivers the request in a blunt, slightly whiny tone that lands like a cartoon complaint, making the hunger feel urgent and a little dramatic. It works because the line is so plain: anyone who has stared into an empty fridge recognises the feeling instantly. Dropped into an edit, it turns an ordinary snack run, a pet staring at its bowl or a late-night craving into a small punchline about appetite.
