The Landmaster is Fox McCloud's tank from the Star Fox series, and in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, released in 2014, it became his Final Smash. When activated, Fox summons the vehicle onto the stage and can drive it around, firing powerful shots while opponents struggle to avoid it. Clips of the callout spread through Smash gameplay videos, highlight reels and tournament streams, where the short shout became shorthand for a sudden power shift. It remains popular because it is instantly recognisable to Smash fans and works well as a dramatic audio cue.
