This lion roar comes from Puss in Boots, where it accompanies the moment a lion is transformed by the ogre. The short, powerful sound captures the shock of that sudden change, which is why it was picked up by soundboard users and video editors looking for a quick burst of wild drama. Since then it has been reused far beyond its original scene, appearing in animal clips, transformation edits, reaction videos and memes where a character suddenly becomes fierce or powerful. Its lasting appeal is its simplicity: one unmistakable roar instantly signals strength, danger and a dramatic shift.
