New Thang is a 2014 party track by American performer Redfoo, best known as one half of LMFAO, and it carries the same loud, dancefloor-focused style that made his earlier hits popular. The song is built around a simple, repetitive chorus and an electronic dance beat, which made it easy to reuse in short clips. Over time, creators have kept returning to it for dance videos, party edits and lighthearted memes, because the hook is instantly recognisable and immediately sets a fun, high-energy mood without needing any context.
About this sound
The catchy New Thang chorus by Redfoo, a party anthem from 2014 that creators use for dance clips, celebrations, upbeat meme edits and party montages.
New Thang is a short, high-energy slice of Redfoo's party track, built around a bouncy electronic beat, a looping synth hook and his playful, shout-along vocal delivery. The clip feels upbeat and slightly ridiculous in the best way, with a driving rhythm that makes a simple movement look like a dance routine. It lands as a burst of confidence and silliness, turning an ordinary moment into a celebration and prompting viewers to smile, nod along or join in. Its bright production and repetitive chorus make it easy to recognise within seconds, which is why it works as a punchline or a hype moment.
