About this sound

A Nolik sound from the Russian animated series The Fixies, used in memes and short edits to add a playful, childlike moment to funny clips and reactions.

This longer Nolik clip centres on the young Fixie's bright, high-pitched voice, full of quick excitement, giggles and sudden changes in pace that make it feel instantly cartoonish and mischievous. Because it runs for almost 37 seconds, it gives editors room to let a joke build rather than relying on a single punchline, with Nolik's expressive delivery carrying the humour even before any visuals are added. Listeners tend to recognise the character at once, and that familiarity turns an ordinary reaction or prank setup into something warmer, sillier and more nostalgic for viewers who grew up with the show.

Pro tip

Drop the clip under a reveal or an over-the-top reaction, and cut the visuals to match Nolik's shifts in energy rather than letting it play untouched. Keep the voice front and centre, and avoid using the full 37 seconds at low volume.

How people use it

Creators use it for a silly character reveal in edits.
