Clips of the voice line have circulated online and in soundboard collections, where editors reuse it as a shorthand for a powerful upward attack. Its clear, dramatic delivery keeps it useful for memes, montages, and reaction edits years after the game's release.
About this sound
Ryu shouts his signature Shoryuken attack call from Marvel vs Capcom 3, a rising dragon punch cry used in fighting game edits and reaction memes.
This is Ryu's English voice line as he launches his famous dragon punch, stretching the word Shoryuken into a long, rising shout that peaks with a sharp, explosive finish. The delivery is loud and confident, with the syllables rolling upward before snapping into the final punch, which makes it feel powerful and triumphant rather than angry. Listeners instantly recognise it as a fighting game callout, and it lands as a burst of energy that signals a comeback, a knockout blow, or a moment of sudden confidence in a clip.
