About this sound

Telescope Playboi Carti is a short music clip from the rapper, used in edits, memes and fan videos as a moody trap intro or transition sound.

This clip is a brief, atmospheric excerpt built around Playboi Carti's distinctive ad-libbed vocal style and a dark, spacey trap beat. The production feels hazy and floating, with layered synths and a slow, pulsing rhythm that gives the short loop a dreamlike quality. Carti's voice sits more like an instrument than a lead vocal, drifting in and out and adding to the mysterious mood. Listeners often find it instantly recognisable and hypnotic, which is why a few seconds are enough to set a tone, signal a vibe shift, or make an ordinary edit feel cooler and more cinematic.

Pro tip

Place the clip at the very start of an edit or right before a reveal, letting the spacey intro build for a few seconds before cutting on the beat. Keep dialogue low underneath and avoid adding heavy bass, as the track is moody and layered.

How people use it

Drop it as an intro for a Playboi Carti fan edit.
Use it before a outfit reveal in a fashion video.
Add it under a slow zoom or telescope transition shot.
