The clip is taken from Donald Trump publicly defending his intelligence, a recurring theme in his speeches and interviews that produced the line about being like a really smart person. Shortened for soundboards, it spread through political memes, reaction videos and remix edits where the quote is detached from its original context. It remains popular because it can be used both by supporters quoting him and critics using it ironically, making it one of the most reused Trump voice clips online.
About this sound
Donald Trump saying trust me I'm like a really smart person, a short clip used for sarcastic reactions, bragging jokes and political memes online.
This is Donald Trump delivering his famous self-praise line, insisting that he is like a really smart person and asking listeners to trust him. The delivery is confident and dead serious, with that recognizable cadence and emphasis that makes the claim sound both bold and unintentionally funny. Because the tone is so sure of itself, listeners often hear it as comedy rather than persuasion. It works as an instant punchline for overconfidence, letting a video undercut a character the moment they claim to know everything.
