The scream circulates online as the chicken on tree screaming AUUGHHH TikTok meme, a half-second burst that editors lift straight into fail compilations and chaotic edits. Its published description ties it to Faaaah by Taileons, a phonk-leaning track referenced as Yara Yara phonk, which is how many viewers first encounter the scream layered over a beat. With no single documented original recording, the clip survives the way most scream meme audio does: ripped, reposted and remixed across short-form video, valued purely for the shock of a barnyard animal screaming like a person.

A half-second clip of a chicken in a tree belting a raspy 'AUUGHHH' scream, a TikTok meme tied to a phonk edit. Creators drop it on fails and jump scares.
The clip is a single, frantic chicken scream captured in under a second: a sharp, raspy 'AUUGHHH' that bursts out of nowhere and cuts off almost instantly. It sounds like a bird mid-panic, equal parts absurd and startling, which is exactly why it lands. Played over a video, it turns any small mishap into a full-blown disaster in the viewer's head, the kind of sound that makes people laugh precisely because it is so wildly disproportionate to whatever just happened on screen.
