The clip is credited to Ad Looij on the soundboard where it was uploaded, though little else is documented about the recording or its original context. It appears to be a user-uploaded original rather than a line lifted from a film or show, which is common for short reaction clips that spread through memes. Its staying power comes from the universality of the joke: everyone ages, and the deadpan reminder works as a lighthearted caption for countless everyday moments of feeling old.
關於此聲音
A short voice clip of Ad Looij saying don't forget I'm old with dry humor. Creators play it over jokes about aging, slowing down, or acting like a grandparent.
This is a brief spoken clip, just under five seconds long, in which a man identified as Ad Looij delivers the line 'don't forget I'm old' in a matter-of-fact, slightly self-deprecating tone. The delivery is calm rather than dramatic, which is exactly what makes it funny: it lands like a gentle excuse offered mid-activity. The recording has the casual feel of a personal soundboard upload, with the voice front and center and no music or effects behind it. Dropped into a video, it gives the moment a warm, self-aware shrug, inviting viewers to laugh along at getting older instead of fighting it.
