The Indominus Rex is the genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur and main antagonist of Jurassic World (2015), created by splicing Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor and other animal DNA. Its roar was designed as a deeper, more menacing take on the classic T. rex bellow and quickly became one of the film's most recognisable sounds. Clips of it spread across YouTube edits, TikTok memes and gaming montages, where the short roar works as a universal signal for something huge, dangerous or over-the-top arriving on screen.

The deep, layered roar of the Indominus Rex from Jurassic World (2015), used in meme edits and gaming clips for epic reveals, boss entrances and dramatic cuts.
This is a short, punchy clip of the Indominus Rex letting out a full-throated roar, the hybrid dinosaur's signature sound from Jurassic World. The roar opens with a guttural growl that climbs into a layered, booming bellow with a reptilian rasp on top, then cuts off with a heavy echo. It sounds enormous and predatory, like a big cat mixed with a crocodile at ten times the size. Dropped into a video, it instantly makes whatever is on screen feel massive, dangerous and dramatic, turning an ordinary reveal into a monster entrance.
