Patrick Star is the dim-witted pink starfish and best friend of SpongeBob in Nickelodeon's long-running animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, known for his loud, childlike outbursts. Short clips of his exaggerated screaming have circulated for years as a scream meme on TikTok, YouTube and meme soundboards, where editors reuse them to punctuate fails and overreactions. Because the sound needs no context to be funny, it remains a quick shorthand for panic in short-form video, reaction edits and gaming clips.

Patrick Star lets out a long, high-pitched 'eeeeee' scream from SpongeBob SquarePants, used in memes for panic, surprise and dramatic overreaction.
This clip captures Patrick Star holding a single, rising 'eeeeee' sound that starts almost sing-song and stretches into a full cartoon scream, with the wobbly, exaggerated delivery that makes SpongeBob humour so recognisable. It is short, loud and instantly silly, so it lands as a punchline rather than a realistic shout. Dropped over a fail, a jump scare or an absurd reveal, it turns a small moment into a melodramatic one, making viewers laugh at how over the top the reaction feels while still understanding exactly what emotion is being mocked.
