Rent-a-Girlfriend is a Japanese romantic comedy manga by Reiji Miyajima that was adapted into a television anime in 2020. Its first opening theme, Centimeter, was performed by Japanese rock band the peggies and became closely associated with the show's bright, fast-paced introductions. Short clips of the opening circulate among anime fans for edits, rankings and recreations, helped by the song's catchy chorus and clear episode-start energy. The excerpt remains popular because it instantly identifies the series while also working as a general cue for upbeat anime-style openings.

The short Centimeter opening theme from Rent-a-Girlfriend, the upbeat J-pop intro used for anime edits, fan videos and title sequence recreations.
This clip captures the bright opening hook of Centimeter, the pop-rock theme that starts each episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend. Fast guitars, punchy drums and a cheerful female vocal create an instantly energetic lift, matching the series romantic comedy tone. The short excerpt feels like a title card arriving, full of momentum and optimism, which is why editors use it to signal a new scene, introduce a character, or give a montage a polished anime opening feel without playing the full song.
