Shmebulock comes from Disney's animated series Gravity Falls, created by Alex Hirsch and first aired in 2012. He is one of the gnomes living in the forest around Gravity Falls, distinguished by his long beard and the fact that he can only say his own name, voiced by Hirsch himself. The limitation became a running gag among fans, and short clips of the line circulated on Vine, YouTube and soundboards as a standalone reaction. Its persistence comes from that mismatch between his serious tone and total lack of information.

This is the short vocal clip of Shmebulock, the bearded gnome from Gravity Falls, saying his own name. The line is delivered in a surprisingly deep, flat voice that lasts just over a second, with no music or effects behind it. In the show the character can only say that one word, which turns a simple name drop into a complete non sequitur. Played alone, it sounds bewildered and oddly serious, which is why a single repetition lands as a punchline and stops a conversation cold.
