About this sound

The Noot Cena meme sound mashes Pingu's noot noot with the John Cena reveal sting, used for sudden joke entrances and absurd punchlines.

This clip is a parody remix of the classic "And his name is John Cena" meme, swapping in Pingu's famous "noot noot" for a sillier payoff. It usually starts like a dramatic setup, then lands with the loud wrestling-style hit and the unexpected Noot Cena gag. The contrast between intense hype and a goofy penguin reference makes it funny on reaction edits, fail videos, and surprise reveals. It works best when you want a moment to feel absurdly overblown in a way viewers instantly recognize.

Pro tip

Drop this right at the frame of a smash cut, door reveal, or character zoom-in. Let a tiny pause build first, and avoid stacking other loud bass hits under it or the joke loses its clean surprise.

How people use it

Revealing a friend after dramatic build-up.
Punching up a sudden character entrance meme.
Turning a minor fail into an overblown joke.
Adding absurd payoff to a fake serious intro.

More information

Noot Cena is a remix variation of the long-running "And His Name Is John Cena" meme, a format that spread widely through short edits and prank-style videos in the mid-2010s. This version replaces the expected Cena moment with Pingu's well-known "noot noot" catchphrase, creating a more absurd crossover joke. It stayed popular because the structure is instantly recognizable, short, and easy to sync to visual reveals, especially in reaction clips, gaming edits, and chaotic meme compilations.
